Armoring is the protective layer of armor. Armored cable refers to the cable with a layer of metal protection. Generally, the outer layer of the cable is around the entangled steel belt, and some are in the outer layer of the steel belt plus other protective layer, such a cable is called the tape armored cable or armored cable.
